Monopoly Week!

This week we played Monopoly, with a CEO twist.

Teammembers got more familiar with starting a business: each teammember conducted market research: discovering which properties are most valuable, creating a strategy, etc. This is a crucial component to determining business viability!

We also filled out mock versions of two business registration forms: SS-4 and REG-1. This helped our teammembers become familiar with the process of registering their businesses.

Additional components included the ability to apply for a loan, and the things banks look for in reviewing these applications. Teammembers were also given the ability to hone their negotiation skills, and learned about mergers and acquisitions. Lastly, everyone kept track of all of their transactions, and created a P&L statement.

This was a fun week that also taught many valuable lessons and skills!
