Today wrapped up a two day joint session with Macoupin County CEO, centered on Real Colors, a personality assessment led by Valerie Belusko from the University of Illinois Extension office. Team members from both programs spent the two days identifying their color personality type and learning how each type thinks and processes information differently.

Groups broke out by color to map their values, needs, joys, and strengths, then presented their findings to the room. Beyond identifying their own type, team members learned what other colors need from them and how to adjust their approach to work more effectively across different personality styles.

Sessions like this build a skill that carries well beyond the program: understanding how to read people and adapt communication to get better results, whether in a boardroom, on a team, or running a business.
