Last week, we visited Your Design or Mine, where owner Jo Wall opened her doors and walked the group through how she built a thriving custom print and embroidery business from the ground up.

Jo started the business in 2014 out of a spare bedroom with nothing more than a small printer and a heat press. Over the years she steadily expanded her offerings to include screen printing, sublimation, laser engraving, embroidery, and more. Jo told us, “If you can think of it, we can do it.” Team members got a firsthand look at the equipment and the full scope of what the business produces on a daily basis.

Jo also shared how she has grown the business through word of mouth, advertising, and sponsoring local events, and credited her success to a simple principle: “If you take care of your customers, they will take care of you.”

Thank you Jo for your time and the practical wisdom you shared with our group.
