Today we toured Dunns and Roses, where owner Jamee Dunn shared how she and her sister took over the long-standing Hillsboro flower shop just over a year ago. Students learned about the logistics behind ordering flowers, planning deliveries, and managing busy seasons like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.

Jamee also discussed the importance of partnerships with local organizations, offering products at a variety of price points, and how knowledge compounds over time in an industry. The visit gave the CEO team a great look at how strong service, convenience, and customization help a small business thrive in the community.
