Today our team visited Glenn & West in Nokomis, where they met with Trent West and learned what it takes to run a focused and effective law practice. With a dedicated team of attorneys and support staff, the firm is intentional about the types of cases they accept so they can provide the highest level of service to their clients. Students also heard about the value of gaining early experience through internships, externships, and building strong relationships with professors while still in college.

Conversation centered on the reality that business is constant problem-solving and how collaboration helps navigate challenges more effectively. Marketing strategies, cost differences across geographic areas, and the growing role of AI in the legal field and beyond were discussed. Trent also emphasized a simple but powerful principle for both business and life: treat people well and be kind to everyone you interact with.
