This morning the CEO team met with Jessica Chappalear at Country Financial, where she shared her journey through several industries and how each step prepared her for the work she does today. Jessica discussed her early leadership experiences in FFA, her time as a district manager for Aldi, her role in directing Fusion Fitness & Aquatics, and ultimately how those experiences opened the door to becoming the Country Financial agent in Hillsboro.

She emphasized that career paths are rarely straight lines and encouraged the team to keep pursuing opportunities and learning, even when they aren’t yet sure where they will end up. Jessica also walked the team through the importance of insurance - how it protects individuals and their assets, and how her role as a branch owner is centered on helping clients find the right policies and resolving their needs as quickly as possible.

The conversation closed with insight into running her office, establishing her business, and the value of marketing through community involvement. Jessica highlighted how staying visible and connected helps people think of you when they need the services you provide, and she introduced the team to the types of insurance business owners rely on, including liability, BPP, and workman’s comp.
