This morning, the CEO team joined Macoupin CEO for a joint tour of M&M Service led by David Wright. Students were introduced to the complexity of running a large-scale operation, including the business structures that support it and the responsibilities involved in managing equipment, chemicals, inspections, and workplace safety.

The team also gained valuable insight into what it means to oversee a workforce of more than 200 employees, as well as how sales, assets, and income evolve as a business grows. External factors such as weather and regulations play a major role in their industry, highlighting the importance of adaptability and strong decision-making.

David emphasized the value of building a wide skill set, learning constantly, and embracing challenges. The tour concluded with a look at how technology and automation have transformed their workflows, helping make complex systems more manageable and efficient. Today’s visit gave the team a clear picture of leadership, innovation, and long-term growth in a modern ag-service business.
