This morning we visited the DeMoulin Museum in Greenville for a joint tour with the Clinton County and Bond County CEO programs.

Museum founder and curator John Goldsmith shared the fascinating history of the DeMoulin Brothers factory - a company that began in 1892 making initiation devices for the Modern Woodmen of America before evolving into a manufacturer of marching band uniforms.

Students learned about innovation, patents, and the importance of protecting creative ideas. Goldsmith’s passion for preserving the company history and his story of turning a lifelong hobby into a museum inspired students to think about how their own ideas could grow into something meaningful for their communities.
