Today our team learned from Heather Hampton-Knodle as she shared her journey and the business lessons she has carried with her through her years in entrepreneurship.

From starting her first business as a child with pet rocks to building lasting ventures, Heather reminded us that we are constantly becoming, always growing and changing if we allow it. She encouraged students to persevere, solve problems, and be persistent, while also stressing the importance of hiring honest, motivated people and following up with handwritten thank-you notes. Heather spoke about innovation, reminding us to look for ways to be faster, better, and more efficient, and highlighted that when you show up and work hard, opportunities will come your way.

We are grateful for the wisdom and encouragement she shared as our team-members continue building their own entrepreneurial skills.
