Heather Hampton-Knodle of Knodle, Ltd offered us a hands-on exercise on some of the factors that farmers have to decide on when operating their farming business. Farming requires many different skills which most operations share in with their team. Brian Knodle is the mechanic, farmer, and commodities broker and Heather is the accountant, AP & AR, and regulatory agent for the operation. There are many constant risks in farming; weather, global situations, government regulations and changes in input costs are to name just a few. It is important to know how the world works and how it comes into play in your future. Thank you for hosting us, Heather!
