Tony Herman zoomed with CEO to discuss Corteva and the Pioneer seed company. "I started out in a training program," and gradually grew with the company to be the plant manager. Tony explained his love of agronomy and farming and the many opportunities in the agricultural business.

Tony explained how Pioneer works with local farmers to grow a premium seed product, how the seed is refined and packaged, and how the plant maintains a safe working environment. "We have 71 full-time employees who work two shifts. We practice a work-life balance that prioritizes safety first."

Corteva bought out Pioneer but Tony explained, "they kept the brand, Pioneer, because it is the second most recognized brand name in agriculture" next to John Deere.
